7/19/2010 2010 NY Golf Auction Book

The 2010 New York Blue & Gray Golf Classic Auction Guide is now available. Gather your friends, family and business colleagues and take a careful glance through our 2010 live and silent auction catalog. Don’t miss a single item because there is a wider variety this year and we know you’ll see something you like!

If you are unable to attend the outing or dinner and would like to bid on any of these items, contact Gregg Matalas at 516-773-5544 and we will be your proxy at the outing.

Please keep in mind that the proceeds of the golf classics go to meet the ever-increasing fiscal needs of Kings Point Athletics. Supporting 23 sports can be an arduous task for such a small institution. But, as one of the four pillars of a midshipman’s education, our programs are not only important, but essential to the mission of the institution.

Have a great time reading and if you have any questions on the items and any restrictions, please contact Gregg Matalas at 516-773-5544 or
gregg.matalas@alumni.usmma.edu.

7/11/2010 USMMA Campus Renovations (Video)

The Academy has undergone some renovations over the past few years and we are finally seeing the finished project. Along with some other shorter term projects, the Academy will start to look better than it has in years. The increasing government budget has been a huge boost and it is good to see that kind of support that has been missing for years.

Of course, much work still needs to be done and government funding will only take us so far. Your contributions are still vital and needed to make the Academy the best maritime institution in the world. Let us all continue to work together and keep those improvements coming! Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
